Testimonials are an important aspect of a reputable wedding and event band. It is essential that potential clients know that not only is a wedding band composed of capable and talented musicians, but that they are reliable. One of the best ways to convey this is through testimonials from past clients. The reason for this is that a band can write about themselves, but ultimately, potential clients looking to hire a wedding band also want to hear from past clients. This is based upon the concept of “social proof.” This is the idea that people tend to favor information from their peers. Essentially, the approval of a peer lends something that a great deal of text may not: additional credibility.
