Wedding Information from Perfect Music for Weddings...Posts Tagged “Chris Murphy”| On October 30th, 2008, The Wine and Roses Band performed at the world famous Getty Villa. The Getty Villa is an extension of the J. Paul Getty Museum, which is dedicated to the study of the arts and culture of ancient Greeks and Romans. The Getty Villa houses a great deal of Greek, Roman and Etruscan sculptures as well as other cultural artifacts. The Villa was designed to resemble the Village of the Papyri at Herculaneum, surrounded by Roman architecture and gardens.

We have some very exciting news for fans, friends and clients of Perfect Music for Weddings: our artistic director and feature musician, Chris Murphy, made a live appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show last week on October 15th, 2008. He played live violin music to accompany a skit about one of Ellen’s comedy writers, Lauren, on a romantic blind date. Ellen’s show features ongoing segments about Lauren, entitled “Days of Our Lauren.” The episode also included an interview with the talented young actress Dakota Fanning.
